Pharoahs Island, Wishwash Canyon & Quad Safari

A trip to the island of the Pharoahs, located near Taba and just 250 metres from the coast line, is an excellent opportunity to visit new and unexplored sights in Sinai.  Wander around the ancient citadel and admire the surroundings of the Gulf of Aqaba.

A small piece of land off the cost of Taba, the island of the pharaohs (coral island) is one of the most picturesque and historically interesting places in the Gulf of Aqaba.  On a rocky island of only a few hundred metres stands the well preserved medeival fortress of Saladdin, the underwater landscapes abundant with corals and colourful fish, and in the evenings the majestic walls become a platform for light music performance.

Not only do you get to visit Pharoahs Island on this trip but we also include Wishwash Canyon & Lake in Nuweiba as well as quad biking, it's a day filled with sightseeing, fun and adventure.

We will collect from your hotel in air conditioned vehicle at approximately 6.30am, we will arrive in Dahab after 1 hour and take a short toilet break, from here we will continue onto Nuweiba for an oriental breakfast.  After breakfast we take a short safari, approx 20-30 minutes to Wishwash Canyon, we walk through the canyon for approximately 30 minutes before we reach the lake for a 40 minute swim.  The jeeps then return us to Nuweiba for our quad safari, we spend approximately 45 minutes on the quads before we get back on the bus and head to Taba.  Once in Taba we board the boat and head over to Pharoahs Island, you can explore the island, Saladin Castle and have free time to snorkel or if you wish dive (payable upgrade).  Lunch and soft drinks are included.  The bus departs Taba at 4.30pm with arrival in Sharm approx 7pm.

16:30 Bus departs Taba for Sharm
19:00 Arrival in Sharm
